The Opportunity
As a Field Recruiter, you’ll play a crucial role in building Fix-It 24/7’s workforce by proactively sourcing and recruiting experienced HVAC, electrical, and plumbing technicians. This role goes beyond traditional recruiting—you’ll spend time in the field engaging with potential candidates at supply houses, gas stations, restaurants, and other locations where skilled tradespeople gather. Your ability to connect with talent in person and develop strong relationships will be key to your success.
This is a hybrid position, combining in-office work with field-based recruiting. You’ll work closely with hiring managers and the leadership team to ensure we’re consistently bringing in top-tier talent that aligns with our company culture and goals.
Field Recruiter Compensation and Benefits
- $80,000 - $110,000 On Target Earnings
- $50,000 base salary per-hire bonuses

Field Recruiter Responsibilities
- Proactively source and recruit experienced HVAC, electrical, and plumbing technicians through both in-office efforts and on-the-ground field recruiting
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential candidates at trade schools, supply houses, job sites, gas stations, restaurants, and industry events
- Conduct initial screenings, assess qualifications, and present top candidates to hiring managers
- Work closely with hiring teams to understand staffing needs and drive fast, high-quality hiring decisions
- Maintain a strong pipeline of skilled trades professionals through ongoing networking and follow-ups
- Track and report recruiting metrics to measure effectiveness and success
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, or plumbing industries and where to find top talent

Field Recruiter Schedule: M-F, 7 AM - 5 PM.
