- We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join us on a contract basis to lead the enterprise-wide change management strategy and execution for company’s Enterprise Data Science Council (EDSC).
- EDSC initiatives pertain to establishing AI policies and governance, as well as enabling increased data science capability and training across the enterprise.
- This individual will ensure effective design and deployment of change management and communications strategies related to new AI policies, processes, governance and training plans that are being developed in response to emerging AI regulations and tools.
- Initiatives will require engagement across various Company functions, including Research, Development, Commercial, Manufacturing, Company, IT, G&A functions and more.
- The change management lead will collaborate with various stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure new policies, processes, governance and training plans align with organizational goals and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Additional areas include supporting the efforts to launch Communities of Practice (CoP), increasing data science awareness, and enabling increased data science capability across the enterprise.
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and apply change management strategies, tools, and processes to ensure regulatory compliance and sustained adoption
- Lead and manage change readiness and people impact assessments
- Build and lead change communities including a change champion network, facilitating regular discussions ensuring two-way communication between the working group and key EDSC leaders
- Provide change management consultation to EDSC and other business partners
- Proactive planning to manage and mitigate potential areas of change resistance
- Design and execute comprehensive and tailored change management plans
- In partnership with the Public Affairs EDSC communications lead, consult business partners on effective change communication techniques and support development and execution of change communications
- In partnership with designated training lead, plan and execute appropriate training strategies related to EDSC goals
- Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with business leads and change champions
- Translate high level and complex information to meaningful messaging for appropriate audiences
- Create, recommend, and/or enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success
- Expected duration of this contract role is at least six months.
Experience:
- 7 years of experience in change management in life sciences/healthcare, preferably in the biopharmaceutical industry
- Experience leading large-scale, complex organizational change efforts across a large enterprise
- Experience in leading enterprise-level technology or analytics associated change management
- Experience implementing change related to the following is beneficial but not required:
- Launch of AI Policy & Governance
- Data governance
- Regulatory and/or legal compliance
- Data privacy and intellectual property protection
- Roll out of data science or data analytics solutions
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools; Change Management Certification is preferred (Prosci®, CCMP)
- A passion for listening and understanding needs of people affected by change to foster readiness and success
- Comfortable providing counsel to senior leaders
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment while delivering on-time, high quality results
- Strength in communicating and working effectively with partners in various functions
- Ability to objectively understand perspectives of people across various roles
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to execute strategic direction
