Valley Truck Centers and Fleet One Leasing are growing again and searching for a motivated finance lease business development manager for an immediate opportunity to join our team! Valley Truck Centers is a family-owned private company founded in 1964, and Fleet One Leasing is the lease and rental division. We have locations in Ohio and Michigan to serve our customers, providing value in the sale and service of Ford, Freightliner, Western Star, Hino, Isuzu, Crane Carrier, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles. We believe in long-lasting customer relationships that have enabled us to serve our markets for over 50 years.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Contact prospective customers and assigned accounts within your assigned territory.
- Create target lists, participates in sales blitzes, and pursue prospective business within assigned territory
- Meet sales quotas and monthly sales activity goals and maintain records of activity results
- Conduct facility tours and vehicle demonstrations
- Develop proper equipment specification for opportunities by keeping current on medium and heavy-duty truck specifications, including performance, service, and warranty information
- Develop and present sales proposals to prospects for all product lines (for example, full-service lease, contract maintenance, sales or service, etc.)
- Apply business strategies necessary in presenting a solution to obtain signed contract and/or sales by making all company products and services available to customers and prospects
- Create target lists, participates in sales blitzes, and pursue prospective business within assigned territory
- Submit required reports, including Weekly Sales Call Summary, to General Manager
Required Experience:
- College degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Minimum three years sales experience preferred
- Comfortable with cold call solicitation previous lease experience preferred
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Effective time management and analytical skills
- Familiar with heavy-duty truck specifications, including legal, performance, and application criteria preferred

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
