Position Overview / Responsibilities
Technical and quotation sales support for Flender sales channels (Business developers, Account managers, Customers including Partners and Distributors, 3rd party sales representatives, and Repair Centers), which includes :
- Selects, prepares, and presents technical and commercial proposals for couplings, spare parts and services using internal selection tools.
- Reviews customer technical specifications and offers couplings, spare parts, or services for different types of industrial markets, such as Minerals / Mining, Oil & Gas, Material Handling, Extrusions, Pumps etc.
- Resolves technical problems to meet customer requirements.
- Reviews and clarifies technical & commercial requirements of customers prior acceptance of customer purchase orders.
- Prepares internal quote / purchase order related documents for management approvals.
- Communicates with customers on all product related topics (incl. technical aspects, order documentation, tracking, quote development etc.).
- Coordinates Flender technical and commercial solutions with local or HQ teams.
- Supports internal order management or procurement teams from technical point of view.
- Maintains internal sales management documents or databases.
Acquires knowledge in order management to support the end-to-end process, which includes :
Supports Flender sales channels (business developers, account managers, sales reps, distributors, etc.) in a flexible and adequate way.
Prepares and presents demonstration materials for internal or external parties both locally and at off-site locations.
Represents Flender Couplings at trade shows and during customer visits when in-person support is requested from account managers.
Required Knowledge / Education / Skills
Experience
Good knowledge in a technical field or business method including the basic theoretical background.
Basic business understanding.
