Chiropractic Office seeking a part time Front Desk / Back Office Assistant The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Scheduling patients
- Answering phones
- Assisting the providers with new patient intakes
- Scanning patient documents into EHR
- General office work
- Collecting and recording patient copays and payments
- Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate MUST be friendly, energetic, reliable, posses the ability to learn quickly and take instruction easily. We are looking to hire a candidate who is willing to be cross trained to work at the Front Desk as well as assist the Office Manager when needed. Knowledge of Health Insurance/Medical Billing is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate.
We are seeking to hire someone for Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with some flexibility in the schedule if needed.

Summary
As a Front Desk Receptionist/Back Office Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing essential medical administrative support and ensuring a welcoming environment. With premium knowledge in EHR systems and medical terminology, you will assist in streamlining office operations. Your relevant skills in Microsoft Office and customer service will enhance the patient experience, making you an integral part of our healthcare team dedicated to delivering exceptional care.
Qualifications
- Medical administrative support experience (Preferred)
- Proficiency in EHR systems such as Epic, Meditech, and Athenahealth (Preferred)
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of medical terminology and CPT coding
- Excellent patient service and customer service skills
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical records management
- Experience with multi-line phone systems and clerical duties
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
