with top department stores and specialty retailers around the world.
INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW
FDM internships involve a variety of tasks where interns will gain experience and an
understanding of the luxury Lingerie, Swim, and RTW markets. Our studio is a collaborative
team where all members work together to support our mutual growth. We will provide the
candidate with experience and knowledge in many aspects of operating a small, but fast-
growing company. You will have the opportunity to work with several departments including
sales, e-commerce, PR and marketing, social media, production, and design.
DURATION
- 3 - 6 Months Full-Time or Part-Time
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the sales team during market appointments and showroom preparation
- Create and update line sheets for new collections
- Manage all sample tracking
- Prospect new clients
- Assist with order entry and weekly selling reports
- Create product knowledge packet for clients
- Work directly with platforms such as Storm, NuOrder and Joor
- Assist during store visits (every 2 weeks)
- Report on partner accounts websites insights/news
- Showroom maintenance
QUALIFICATIONS
- Understanding and interest in wholesale sales and the Fleur du Mal aesthetic
- Ability to work and collaborate in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Understanding of Microsoft Office and JOOR (preferred nor required)
- Willingness and excitement to take on new projects, learn, and grow in the industry
- Ability to multitask
Hybrid role, must be based in New York
This internship is an unpaid role and the candidate MUST receive academic college credit as a requirement
