Flight Power Repair Group, LLC. is a privately held corporation headquartered in Doral, Florida specializing in providing MRO solutions for the aerospace and industrial markets. We specialize in the repair and overhaul of commercial jet engine components for CFMI CFM56-ALL Series, GE CF6-80C, CF34-ALL Series, Rolls Royce RB211 and Pratt & Whitney PW4000. We also offer repair and overhaul services for industrial turbine components on the Pratt & Whitney GG4/FT4, and GG8/FT8 aero-derivative gas turbines. In addition, Flight Power Repair Group provides a wide range of specialized services for engines, aircraft and landing gear applications which include; Vacuum Heat Treat, Solution and Precipitation Heat Treat, Stress Relief, Shotpeening, Plasma Spray, Cleaning, Ultrasonic Inspection, FPI & FMPI, Welding, Machining, protective coating applications.

The Parts Cleaner is responsible for cleaning and preparing piece parts for inspection, repair, or further processing. This role ensures that all parts meet cleanliness and quality standards before moving to the next stage of production. The Parts Cleaner must be detail-oriented, follow safety protocols and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

General Responsibilities:

· Inspect part for condition prior to starting work.

· Verify Part Number and Serial number (if applicable).

· Review proper stamp-offs prior to commencement of work.

· Read and interpret process specifications in traveler/router.

· Verify masking of specified areas to protect from abrading.

· Clean/blast areas to be cleaned or abraded.

· Clean parts chemically or manually as per instructions on traveler/router.

· Monitor and maintain tank temperatures as required.

· Move between production assignments to support production requirements.

· Scan in and out of operation as required.

· Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and observing and follow all safety procedures, reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.

· Preform chemical additions to maintain performance specs.

· Properly record the work performed on the appropriate maintenance record.

· Daily inspection, cleaning and preventative maintenance of all equipment.

· Preform required preventative maintenance on equipment as required.

· Maintain and clean work area and tools.

· Adapt to additional tasks or modifications to responsibilities as required by business needs.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical certification in aircraft maintenance, avionics, or a related field preferred.

· Prior experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial setting is a plus.

· Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and handling of industrial chemicals.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.

Working Conditions:

· Work is primarily performed in a repair shop or hangar environment.

· Requires standing, walking, and the ability to lift moderate weights (up to 50 pounds).

· Use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Requirements:

· Must be able to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. safely.

· Comfortable working with chemicals and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).

· Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.

· Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.

· Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.

  • Must pass background checks and comply with safety regulations.
