Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role as a Dispatcher located in Florham Park, NJ. The Dispatcher will be responsible for receiving emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatching officers and emergency services, and maintaining communication and documentation during incidents.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
- Familiarity with emergency response procedures
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Knowledge of law enforcement practices and procedures
- Experience in dispatching or emergency response is a plus, but not required!!
- Willing to work varying 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
