Responsibilities
The incumbent will provide administrative support to the Associate Provost and programmatic and organizational support for the Office of the Provost. The incumbent will attend to various administrative details such as maintaining administrative, procedural, and practical operations.
Duties Include But Are Not Limited To The Following
Represent the Associate Provost in matters as authorized; Monitor and follow through on unresolved issues, as appropriate; Interact with faculty, students, parents, and staff by answering inquiries or directing them to proper campus partners for resolution; Handle travel arrangements, including preparation of travel authorization requests, cash advance forms, and expense reports for staff; Disseminate information by using the telephone, mail services, and e-mail; Provide administrative functions such as purchasing, personnel, and other major office functions; Prepare correspondence, reports, and forms from drafts or brief instructions ensuring compliance with rules and regulations; Maintain calendar for Associate Provosts to include scheduling meetings and conferences; Organize, maintain, and secure documents/files both physical and electronic; Manage special projects such as commencement, Faculty Grant program, Tenure and Promotion, Sabbatical and Professional Development Leave application processes, and retention, progression, and graduation initiatives; and, other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in appropriate area of specialization and two years experience; or master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization.

This is an Administrative and Professional (A&P) position.

Successful candidate is subject to a pre-employment screening which includes a review of criminal records, reference checks and verification of education.
