Position Overview:
As a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in our Pain Management department, you will play a pivotal role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with acute and chronic pain conditions. You will work closely with a team of skilled physician, to develop comprehensive pain management plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Training is provided, and work supervised by a licensed physician, until you gain the needed skill sets to thrive! .
Our practice has two locations ( Sebring and Winter Haven) the candidate filling this position would provide care to patients at both locations.
Job Requirements
Under the supervision of the Physician, the Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. will:
Obtain patient's Medical History
Counsel patients on preventative care
Conduct physical exams
Diagnose and treat illnesses
Order prescriptions
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, MRI's, etc
