The Administrative Assistant must possess strong organization and time management skills with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for answering phones, filing, reviewing incoming documents, conducting research, preparing reports, and managing multiple calendars. The Administrative Assistant must be adaptable to multiple and changing priorities. This position must be able to maintain a high level of professionalism and is responsible for handling confidential and sensitive information. An Administrative Assistant's primary responsibilities include the following: (1) Courtroom assignments; (2) Back up for Judicial Assistants; (3) Court Administration Duties; (4) Other Duties as Assigned

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of the duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification.(1) Courtroom AssignmentsAssign courtrooms based on Judicial calendarsRecord/update outlook calendar for training and conference roomsAssist in scheduling depositions (2) Back-up for Judicial Assistants When required, provide Judicial assistance with phone coverage and mail processing to assigned Judge's office (3) Court Administration DutiesProvide support to Court Administration receptionist as requiredAssist in completing disqualifications, recusals, and reassignment orders.Assist in Processing ADA requests to include informing the person of requirements, form completion and submission to appropriate departments, and maintain required recordsAssist with public requestsAssist with processing of facilities work ordersUpdate monitors daily (4) Other Duties as Assigned
