Marketing Manager
Role:
Manages the day-to-day efforts of Marketing and provides recommendations toward the accomplishment of overall objectives for the Marketing Team and the Credit Union. Assists the Chief Strategic Officer and other teams within the organizations.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Experience: Two to Five years of similar or related experience. including time spent in preparatory positions.
Education/Certifications/Licenses: A college degree.
Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required to be an effective subject matter expert in the position. Indepth dialogues, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature is a normal part of the day-to-day experience. Communications can involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance.
Other Skills: Proficient computer skills. Experience using Microsoft products, Word, Excel, Edge, and PowerPoint. Hub experience preferred.

- Manages the daily implementation and measurement of marketing strategies and tactical plans. Coordinates supplies with vendors, branches and SEGs. Develop all written member communication for the credit union.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operation including serving as point of contact for vendors and changes to the credit union website, social media, email marketing, CRM, branch TVs and all other marketing systems. Provides support for staff to assist in problem resolution any systems the Marketing Department is responsible for.
- Analyzes the present marketing situation and needs for promotional campaigns. Prepare an analysis of competitive products and services including pricing, distribution and selling techniques.
- Hires, supervise, trains and evaluates Marketing personnel. Recommends appropriate personnel actions and salary adjustments.
- Works with the community, businesses and sponsor group(s); promotes credit union to maintain a positive relationship.
- Conducts market research and makes recommendations for product/service modifications or improvements to the Chief Strategic Officer. Identifies and presents business development opportunities to grow the credit union.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
