At Flourish, every patient receives wraparound care from an integrated team made up of four roles : child & adolescent psychiatrist, therapist, adolescent mental health coach, caregiver mental health coach.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled startup operator who can lead the most important part of Flourish’s intervention : the coaching teams. You will lead and oversee the adolescent mental health coaching team as well as the caregiver mental health coaching team. You will partner with the VP of Clinicians & Integrated Care to deliver a robust, fully integrated intervention. You and your teams are responsible for patient engagement while your counterpart and her teams are responsible for clinical outcomes.

You are not only amazing at working with teens and parents, but also a deeply invested people leader. You build teams up. You help instill startup adaptability in your teams. You go to bat for patients and set the bar for patient advocacy. Your teams are the quarterbacks for our patient’s care and you take that seriously.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a high functioning integrated multidisciplinary team
• Supervise the coach managers
• Provide (and seek) complex case consultation
• Help develop effective workflows for your coach managers and their teams
• Reinforce cross-functional, integrated team collaboration
• Strategize how our coaches can engage adolescents that have difficulty engaging
• Support caregiver coaches in learning and delivering the adolescent parenting classes
• Support caregiver coaches in school advocacy
• Support both coaching teams in adherence to therapy, psychiatry and prescriptions
• Support workflow and supervision for each integrated team to have 30 patients that are well cared for and engaged
• Learn, build, iterate
• Attend each team’s rounds
• Attend each team’s group consultation time
• Partner with : VP of Clinicians & Integrated Care, VP of Clinical Operations, VP of Growth Operations, Head of Product Management, VP of Clinical Programming
• Communicate effectively, including with : assertive communication, active listening, validation
• Engage in healthy conflict and conflict resolution
• Give compassionate, direct feedback; receive feedback mindfully; take accountability for your missteps; give grace for others’ missteps
• Embody the confident humility to engage in problem solving and ask for help
• Lead change management effectively, leveraging the strengths of other team members and building trust across the company
