Ages of Children: 5 years, 3 years, and 1.5 years
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: 40-45 hours per week M-F
Compensation: $20–30/hour, based on experience
Benefits: Guaranteed hours, 4 weeks PTO, sick days, paid major holidays, use of family vehicle
This warm and active family of five is seeking a nurturing, adaptable, and proactive nanny to care for their three sweet children in Pittsford, NY! Both parents are busy professionals in the medical field, so punctuality and reliability are essential in this role. The ideal candidate will be flexible and willing to adapt to changing schedules throughout the summer and fall, while always receiving a minimum of 40 hours guaranteed per week, Monday through Friday. This family values an engaging and proactive provider, and wouldlove for their nanny to take the children on outings and adventures, as well as create fun, structured experiences at home. A positive and professional attitude is key, as is a calm and gentle but consistent approach to managing challenging behaviors with little ones! This family is still refining their approach to discipline and will appreciate a nanny who is knowledgeable and open to collaborating with the parents on gentle and effective methods.
While the nanny’s primary focus will be on childcare, some general household support is expected, including school drop-offs and pickups,assisting with family laundry, meal prep, light tidying, household organization, and occasional family errands, with a family vehicle provided for all work-related driving. Requirements:
2 years of professional childcare experience
CPR/First Aid certified
Up-to-date on routine vaccinations including COVID
