ROLE SUMMARY
The Accounting Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting the Finance and Accounting team with day-to-day tasks. This entry-level role will focus on basic accounting functions, providing the opportunity to develop foundational skills in finance and accounting operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with data entry for accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Help organize and maintain financial records and filing systems.
- Support the preparation of basic financial reports and spreadsheets.
- Assist with invoice processing and expense tracking.
- Perform basic account reconciliations under supervision.
- Help with organizing and scanning accounting documents.
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting team.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Must be 21 years of age.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This position has flexible hours and frequent weekend work.
TRAVEL
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight and state-wide travel could be expected.
PREFERRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Pursing a degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
1 years relevant work experience in marketing.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Per state law, must be at least 21 years of age.
Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check.
Must pass a drug screening.
