Position Scope
We are seeking an experienced cook in Chinese cuisine who will be responsible for preparing specialty food according to airline customer specifications.
Essential Functions
Use specialty cuisine equipment and techniques.
Wash, peel and cut food for cooking.
Cook specialty cuisine food items according to airline specifications.
Ensure food quantities are met daily for meal processing and packing; ensure no shortages occur.
Comply with all “Good Manufacturing Processes” in a food processing environment.
Follow HACCP standards and ensure that related documentation is completed.
Other duties may be assigned.
Knowledge and Skills
Work independently within area of expertise.
Ability to solve quality related problems.
Knows and follows all safety requirements; strives to maintain a safe work environment.
Effectively receives feedback; willingly asks questions and seeks direction, as needed.
Must be able to function within a team environment.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand for long periods of time; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds. Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently. Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes.

This is a full-time exempt position in a 24/7/365 work environment.

Required Education and Experience
4-5 years experience professional cooking experience in Chinese cuisine.
USDA and Seafood HACCP Certified
Knowledge of Food Industry quality, sanitation standards and requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
