SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for executing preventative maintenance; identifying potential issues that could interrupt machine uptime, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components of various equipment used within the manufacturing environment.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and perform basic repairs, using electrical, mechanical and hydraulic drawings on CNC and conventional machines, part washers, air benches, recyclers and other production equipment as needed. Assist in performing annual PMs’ on equipment.
- Record completion of work orders by documenting in detail the steps taken, parts installed, and repairs performed on all equipment.
- Execute other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent, or Technical School
- 1-2 years’ Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must possess good communication skills.
- Good mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new procedures.
- Forklift License (preferred)
