Investment Banking Associate (CO)
FMI Corporation is seeking a talented professional to join FMI Capital Advisors, the firm’s investment banking group and registered broker/dealer. This full-time opportunity requires 10-30% travel and will be based in our Cherry Creek office in Denver, Colorado.

Responsibilities
- Conducting industry, market and company-specific research
- Performing financial analysis, valuation and financial modeling
- Participating in client-engagement meetings
- Developing transaction marketing materials, including pitch books, teasers, confidential information memorandums and management presentations
- Assisting in the execution of M&A transactions, including the preparation and management of virtual data rooms and the coordination of client and third-party due diligence
- Building relationships and maintaining contact with established and prospective clients and professional advisors
- Researching and writing articles for publication in firm and industry journals
- Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, major or concentration in business, finance, accounting or related field preferred.
- 3 years of investment banking, private equity or corporate development experience OR 1 years of similar experience with an MBA from a top-tier university is required.
- Solid quantitative and analytical skills, including financial modeling and analysis.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to exercise sound independent judgment.
- Superior organizational and time management skills, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, problem solving, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated maturity, integrity and the ability to perform in an entrepreneurial environment, both individually and as a team player.
- Interest in the building and construction industry.
- Experience with Pitchbook, S&P Capital IQ, and Deal Cloud is a plus.
Compensation
$140K-160K DOE plus bonus.
