What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parks Maintenance Worker position at Fond du Lac County, WI?
JOB DUTIES:
- Performs general laborer duties such as: park restroom trash removal and cleaning, lawn maintenance and snow removal, review park facilities for vandalism and any necessary repairs, sign maintenance, tree planting and grass seeding, maintains recreational trails, and maintains flower beds.
- Performs a variety of maintenance work and operates a variety of equipment in the construction, repair, maintenance and replacement of County infrastructure.
- Maintains a variety of records relating to inspections, maintenance activities, work completed, etc.
- Drives vehicles hauling gravel, fill, or other material or plowing snow; service trucks and other equipment.
- Operates powered equipment such as mowers, chainsaws, weed whackers, etc.
- Performs Snow and Ice control duties and assists in emergencies such as floods, windstorms, or rainstorms.
- Performs minor maintenance and custodial work in the care of County-owned buildings, grounds, and facilities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
