Probationary Period: 90 days – Full time, 120 days – Part time
FLSA Status: Exempt (Salaried)

Driver’s License: Level 3- Valid U.S. Class D Driver’s License with Fond du Lac Insurability is required.
Rate of Pay: $56,063.84-$63,071.82
$2,500 Sign-On Bonus, with 2-year commitment
- Responsibilities: Accept and process referrals from other providers.
- Due to changes and modifications in the job from time to time, employees are required to be flexible and assume other responsibilities assigned by management as deemed necessary.
Interview clients and perform assessments to accurately identify and address needs.
Write social histories and case activities to document service provision and progress toward goals.
Write court reports and attend court with the client.
Must complete assessments and referrals for waiver services.
Provide crisis intervention and services that include referrals to meet emergency needs for housing, food, clothing or financial assistance.
Consult and coordinate with appropriate departmental and division staff and community service professionals to develop and provide appropriate and timely services.
Maintain a current and relevant list and awareness of laws, regulations and policies pertaining to American Indian adult casework.
Advocate for and advise eligible American Indian adults to address immediate needs including placement and discharge planning when necessary.
Monitor client progress toward established service goals and determine termination/continuation of service.
Assist and/or refer client to meet transportation needs.
Provide family and community education as needed.
Attend and participate in department and other meetings as directed.
Appropriate work attire is required.
Must attend all mandatory department trainings.
Ensures confidentiality of financial records and all records for employees and/or clients.
Displays a responsive and professional manner in promptly responding to all requests, complaints, and problems.
Recognizes that each employee is a representative of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and is responsible for demonstrating courtesy, respect, and sensitivity to the needs of all others, including visitors and co-workers.
Represents the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and the department in a positive and professional manner in the community.
Required to maintain proper attendance including reporting to work on time in accordance with applicable policies.
Maintains a clean and organized work area.
- Qualifications: Valid U.S. Class D Driver’s License with Fond du Lac Insurability is required.
- Normal physical requirements.
The successful applicant will be qualified through education, training and experience to identify risk factors associated with behavioral health, mental health and substance abuse conditions
MSW preferred or a bachelor’s degree in social work or related social science field with two or more years of professional, supervised experience will be considered.
Documentation of professional interviewing experience; a high level of skill in oral and written communication; and the use of organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated and documented knowledge of and sensitivity to cultural and potential special needs of adult clients.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective professional work relationships with clients and co-workers.
Knowledge of computer applications to include word processing, data bases and/or data entry, Spreadsheets, and Microsoft Outlook is required.
Knowledge of Native American communities, culture, customs, and beliefs is preferred.
Experience working with Native Americans clients, communities and is able to demonstrate cultural sensitivity is preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing is required.
Ability to work independently and establish priorities is required.
Attention to detail and accuracy is required.
Ability to establish professional and harmonious working relationships on all projects and with all parties involved.

Subject to immunization review and submitted proof of required vaccinations.
Some travel may be required.
