About the opportunity
Reporting to the Supply Operations Manager, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of Fonterra USA’s supply chain. Using your strong communication and relationship management skills, you will oversee a portfolio of products across the end-to-end planning process, managing inventory and coordinating with suppliers, including Fonterra NZ and third-party manufacturers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supply Planning - Execute planning activities within a defined framework, ensuring alignment with other processes and business units.
- Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities to enhance existing operations, propose innovative solutions, and contribute to process improvements.
- Stakeholder Engagement - Facilitate stakeholder collaboration by coordinating meetings, events, and supporting materials to drive understanding and commitment.
This role places you at the center of decision-making, where your contributions will directly impact the region’s efficiency and success.
About you
We’re seeking a curious and results-driven supply chain professional who can identify process gaps, drive improvements, and resolve challenges. You’ll have proven experience in supply or production planning, ideally within an FMCG or B2B environment. Additionally, you will bring:
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to align supply and demand planning, leverage forecasting tools, and make data-driven decisions that optimize inventory levels and enhance operational efficiency.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to manage competing stakeholder priorities and build strong business relationships.
- Technical proficiency, including strong Excel skills and experience with SAP and Power BI (preferred).
