What are the responsibilities and job description for the MEDICAL ASSISTANT FOR PODIATRY OFFICE position at Foot and Ankle Surgeons?
- WE ARE CURRENTLY HIRING FOR OUR COLLIER county locations (Physicians rotate through 2 office per week) . Travel is required.
- Evaluation and documentation of patient concerns and collect vitals .
- Prepares exam and treatment rooms for physician.
- Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization.
- Performs cleaning of exam rooms.
- Assists providers in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
- Assists with diagnostic tests, treatments.
- Maintains patient files, records and other information.
- Assists in maintaining compliance with quality assurance standards, including OSHA and HIPAA.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and informs designated person of needed supplies.
- Interacts harmoniously and effectively with others and Conforms to acceptable attendance and punctuality standards .
- Complies with all safety rules and protocols.
- Travel required
