About The Role

We are seeking an Advisor Events Associate to support the planning and execution of in-person events for Fora’s travel advisor community. This role will manage event logistics, partner coordination, communications, and post-event reporting to ensure seamless and successful experiences for advisors and industry partners. The ideal candidate is highly organized, data-driven, and eager to contribute to high-quality event production. Reporting to the Advisor Events Producer, this role is critical to ensuring smooth event operations, maintaining strong relationships with partners and advisors, and driving the overall success of our advisor events. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about events, travel, and creating engaging experiences for the advisor community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Event Planning & Logistics: Support the end-to-end planning and execution of in-person advisor events, including venue selection, partner engagement, programming management, event page creation, attendee invitations, and on-site support (5–10% travel).
  • Partner & Advisor Communications: Manage event-related communications, including invitations, updates, and follow-ups for advisors, partners, and internal teams to ensure engagement and alignment.
  • Budget Management: Maintain event budgets, track expenses, and support revenue generation through sponsorships, ticketing, and in-kind contributions.
  • Data & Reporting: Analyze event attendee data to identify trends, build data dashboards, and report key insights. Use data-driven findings to inform strategy and improve future event planning and execution.
  • Process Management: Help implement and refine scalable processes, templates, and tools while maintaining timelines and ensuring deadlines are met.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in event planning, project management, or community management
  • 1–2 years of experience reporting and analyzing event data
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented, with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems quickly
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners

Strongly Preferred:

  • Experience with event management software and tools
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Compensation

Compensation range for this role is $65k-$70k equity. Other benefits include:
