Description
We are seeking a Military Sourcing Specialist to enhance our recruiting efforts, with a focus on sourcing top-tier military talent. This role is ideal for veterans or those with experience in military hiring programs such as SkillBridge, RecruitMilitary, or other military job platforms. The Military Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for driving candidate pipelines to support our recruiting team in meeting hiring needs.

What You Will Do
- Conduct reference checks to verify candidate qualification
- Support hiring and recruiting efforts by actively collaborating with the team to attract and evaluate top talent.
- Posting job openings across sourcing platforms, military job boards, and career networks.
- Networking with military transition programs, veteran organizations, and career centers to attract highly qualified candidates.
- Planning, organizing, and attending career fairs—both military-focused and general industry events.
- Actively resume hunting and engaging passive candidates through targeted outreach.
- Managing and optimizing Ford’s Career Portal to ensure job visibility and candidate engagement.
Qualifications:
- Veteran status or strong experience in military hiring.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with SkillBridge, RecruitMilitary, or other military job platforms.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to engage military personnel transitioning to civilian careers.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable speaking to large groups and individuals, both in-person and virtually.
- Adept at networking and relationship-building with military organizations and hiring partners.
- Experience in candidate sourcing and/or recruiting preferred.
- Experience posting jobs on platforms like really, ZipRecruiter, Handshake, and military-specific job boards.

Physical Requirements The physical requirements of this role play a pivotal role in ensuring job performance and success. The employee will be engaged in extended periods of sitting while operating a wide range of office equipment. In a typical office setting, the employee will communicate and engage with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental conditions. Although the role mainly takes place indoors, there might be occasional exposure to outdoor elements such as heat, cold and environmental elements.
