We seek an experienced Head of Healthcare Services Operations at one of our esteemed healthcare facilities in Conrad, MT.
About the Position
- This leadership role oversees the Environmental Services Department, ensuring seamless operations, compliance with set standards, and effective management of housekeeping and laundry services.
- The ideal candidate will provide strategic planning to achieve operational excellence and financial success.
- Responsibilities include staff supervision, training, and development, as well as collaboration with facility leaders to drive shared objectives.
- The successful candidate must possess a deep understanding of our contract obligations and be able to communicate effectively with our Regional Director of Operations and Corporate Office team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures for efficient housekeeping and laundry operations.
- Collaborate closely with our Infection Prevention program to ensure comprehensive prevention measures are in place.
- Train, evaluate, and act on performance in all housekeeping and laundry areas, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Act as a liaison between Forefront Healthcare & Culinary Services and our partner facilities, driving strong relationships and open communication.
- Maintain accurate departmental records and manage budget responsibilities, reporting on performance as required.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and develop innovative solutions to meet evolving needs.
- Promote a positive work environment, ensuring friendly, efficient, and productive relationships among clinical departments, clients, and coworkers.
- Complete regular performance appraisals and recommend salary actions per established policy.
- Foster employee growth through targeted training and development programs.
- Evaluate employee performance regularly and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in Environmental Services, with a minimum of 3 years in supervisory or management roles within a healthcare or hospitality setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.
- Able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Demonstrate a customer-focused approach, prioritizing the needs of patients, residents, and clients.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records and tracking performance metrics.
