Job Overview
As the Front Desk Receptionist at Forest House SPA, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service while managing daily operations at the front desk. You will handle appointment scheduling, customer inquiries, technician coordination, and support promotional activities to ensure a smooth and professional spa experience.
Responsibilities1. Customer Service
- Greet clients warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Answer inquiries regarding services, pricing, promotions, and availability.
- Assist clients in completing necessary forms and ensure accurate record-keeping.
2. Appointment Scheduling & Management
- Handle phone, online, and in-person bookings.
- Maintain an organized schedule to optimize technician availability.
- Send appointment reminders and follow up with clients for feedback.
3. Sales & Promotion
- Introduce clients to spa services, membership programs, and current promotions.
- Encourage repeat bookings and upsell relevant treatments.
- Assist in social media engagement by promoting offers and encouraging customer interactions.
4. Cash Handling & Billing
- Process payments accurately, including cash, credit card transactions, and gift certificates.
- Issue receipts and invoices, ensuring proper documentation of transactions.
- Reconcile daily earnings and report to management.
5. Front Desk & Facility Maintenance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and waiting area.
- Monitor appointment flow to minimize wait times and optimize client experience.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure smooth service transitions.
6. Client Relationship Management
- Keep records of client preferences and service history for personalized recommendations.
- Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints professionally.
- Collect client feedback and share insights with management to improve services.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (appointment booking systems, email, and Microsoft Office).
- Prior experience in customer service, reception, or sales is a plus.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly, professional, and service-oriented attitude.
- Experience in social media management or promotions is a plus.
