Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to set up machines accurately.
- Perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments.
- Conduct quality control checks on finished products to meet specifications.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the production process.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and perform basic maintenance as needed.
- Utilize CAD software, such as SolidWorks, for design modifications when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a factory or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and materials handling.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their operation is an asset.
