What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly & Test Technician 3 (A Shift) position at FormFactor, Inc.?

A Shift (front half days) - 6am - 6:15pm Sunday -Tuesday, and every other Wednesday
B Shift (front half nights) - 6pm - 6:15am Sunday -Tuesday, and every other Saturday ( 15% shift differential)
C Shift (back half days) - 6am - 6:15pm Thursday - Saturday, and every other Wednesday
D Shift (back half nights) - 6pm - 6:15am Wednesday - Friday and every other Saturday ( 15% shift differential)
- These CWW schedules only apply to our Livermore, CA location and includes breaks and meal periods
- Strict adherence to area Safety and Quality instructions
- Perform data analysis and understand SPC process for all processing steps
- Mechanical assembly of Stiffeners, PCBAs, interposers and associated hardware and electrical components
- Firm understanding of ESD
- Mechanical adjustment using hand tools, tweezers, dial indicators, hand held digital meters, torque verification, microscope.
- Attention to detail concerning clean room protocol
- Ability to follow detailed mechanical Work Instructions
- Tester setup to perform electrical testing and electronic casualty analysis of probe cards
- Perform adjustments to a probe card to achieve planarity (flatness) of the array.
- Microscope inspection of components & hardware
- Basic troubleshooting down to component level using ohm / cap / voltage meter.
- Work within a shift team to support operations & engineering tasks and as an individual contributor to meet daily production quotas
- Read and follow special test instructions, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions for assembling and testing probe cards
- Apply knowledge of electronic theory and components to resolve test failures.
- Perform data entry based on test results
- Experience in mechanical assembly and disassembly.
- Ability to carefully handle and assemble delicate material/components
- Strong understanding of electronic circuits/components and the ability to perform electronic casualty analysis
- Basic understanding of metrology equipment
- Ability to work with electrical schematics (Allegro, PADS).
- Required to use data collection software to process cards (Excel, JMP, PROMIS)
- Ability to effectively use electronic repair tools and testers.
- Ability to effectively manage time and complete all tasks as assigned by the supervisor
- Ability to work with mechanical schematics (CAD)
- Mechanical and/or machine shop experience
- Minimum of 5 years in Electronics/Semiconductor Manufacturing
