Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Owns the Co-op and internship programs within each department including university communication, job posting, sourcing, screening and onboarding.
- Works with hiring managers to identify personnel needs, and search assignments.
- Contributes to sourcing, screening, interviewing activities as well as recommending prospective employees for employment at all levels within the Company.
- Coordinates internal and external recruitment processes, including the identification of candidate sources, placement of advertisements, internal/external job postings, and scheduling of interviews.
- Prepares job offers for candidates and properly files documents.
- Monitors activities and maintains accurate documentation on all candidates, searches, and other recruiting activities to ensure compliance with government regulations.
- Conducts new hire orientation sessions to new Team Members.
- Review results for drug and background checks in compliance with company policies.
- Ensure new hire compliance training is completed within allotted timeframe.
- Maintain employee records, files and documents within our internal databases, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Conduct self-audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of all employee information.
- Contribute to the administration of the reward and benefit systems to help meet organizational goals.
- Participate in the planning and execution of HR projects and policy rollouts.
- Prepare and launch internal communications on various topics related to benefits, policies, performance management, etc.
- Assist HR Manager with employee relations related activities, ie. performance management, training, etc.
- Assist HRIS Analyst with updating and maintaining HRIS systems and databases.
- Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 3-5 years Corporate Recruiting / Human Resource Generalist experience.
- Strong organizational skills and communication abilities are required.
- Experience and knowledge of HCM/HRIS systems. UKG preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
