As an Account Executive, FX Payments, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding the firm's footprint across the US banking landscape. Your focus will be on driving growth for the company’s FX payments platform, targeting regional and community banks and positioning the product as the go-to solution for cross-border payments and foreign exchange. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand the FX payments client base among regional and community banks across the US.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, maintaining a strong pipeline and accurate forecasting.
- Leverage your industry knowledge to consult with prospects, understanding their unique challenges in FX payments and risk management.
- Collaborate closely with product and marketing teams to relay market feedback and inform future product enhancements.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, building relationships and thought leadership in the space.
Essential Requirements:
- 5 years of enterprise sales experience, specifically selling FX or global payments technology solutions to financial institutions.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota, with a strong network across regional and community banks.
- Deep understanding of the FX lifecycle: from execution and settlement to reconciliation and compliance (e.g., OFAC / BSA / AML).
- Familiarity with payment systems like SWIFT, Fedwire, and ACH, and concepts such as correspondent banking and Nostro account management.
- Strong consultative selling skills, with experience in structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC) and value-based selling approaches.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
Desirable Experience:
- Familiarity with financial regulations impacting foreign exchange and cross-border payments.
- Background in capital markets fintech, working with or selling into mid-sized financial institutions.
