Position Overview
The Communications Coordinator is responsible for developing and executing communication strategies to promote Fort Clark Springs. This role will focus on social media management, newsletters, marketing, promotions, and membership pricing and design. The ideal candidate will be creative, organized, and have a strong understanding of digital marketing and community engagement.
Responsibility
Social Media Management:
· Develop, schedule, and manage social media content across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.).
· Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages, and foster community interaction.
· Analyze social media trends and metrics to optimize content performance.
· Create and maintain a social media calendar.
Newsletters & Marketing:
· Design and distribute engaging digital and print newsletters to members and the public.
· Develop marketing campaigns to promote events, memberships, and amenities.
· Write, edit, and proofread content for various communication materials.
· Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all platforms.
Promotions & Public Relations:
· Plan and execute promotional activities to increase membership and event participation.
· Coordinate with local businesses, media outlets, and organizations to enhance community outreach.
· Create press releases and promotional content for distribution.
Membership Pricing & Design:
· Research and recommend competitive pricing strategies for memberships and services.
· Design visually appealing membership materials, including brochures, flyers, and advertisements.
· Assist in structuring membership tiers and benefits to attract and retain members.
Event Support & Community Engagement:
· Promote Fort Clark Springs events through various communication channels.
· Support event planning by providing marketing materials and outreach assistance.
· Engage with members and guests to enhance their experience and gather feedback.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
