What You'll Do:
- Lead and Inspire: Oversee the banquet team, ensuring every event is executed flawlessly from start to finish.
- Event Planning: Collaborate with various departments to plan and set up events, ensuring all details are perfect.
- Guest Interaction: Maintain a positive and professional approach with guests, making them feel special and valued.
- Team Management: Train, mentor, and supervise banquet staff, fostering a supportive and productive work environment.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with food handling policies, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Problem Solving: Address guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and career growth.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: At least one year of experience in a high-paced hospitality, banquet, or food service environment, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organizational abilities, and a strong work ethic.
- Certifications: Must obtain Food Handlers certification and TIPS certification within 90 days of employment.
- Availability: Open availability and the ability to work under time constraints and deadlines.
- Personality: A team player with outstanding interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
Education and/or Experience:
(G9/S1-3 DOE)
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- One (1) year or more experience or training in a high-paced, hospitality, banquet OR food service environment.
- One (1) year or more supervisory experience.
- or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
(G10/S1-3 DOE)
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Two (2) years or more related experience or training in a high volume fast-paced, hospitality, banquet, OR food service environment.
- Two (2) years or more supervisory experience.
- or an equivalent combination of education, experience and training.
