PROCESS SAFETY ENGINEER - LEAD
Seeking experienced Process Safety Engineer to work with a leader in the oil and gas industry. The Process Safety Engineer will support large capital projects for Offshore applications. The Process Safety Engineer will lead a group of Process Safety Engineers and / or function as a Technical Specialist responsible for developing and applying advanced process safety engineering concepts for offshore projects to include : fixed structure platform, semi-submersible, FPSO.
Skills Required :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Experience supporting the following activities : facilitate process safety reviews (HAZID, HASOP, LOPA, SIL), dispersion consequence modeling (using PHAST), plot plan safety reviews.
- Firm understanding of building siting studies / QRS's
- Experience on offshore capital projects (FEED and / or EPC
- Exposure to FERC requirements, clarification and reviews associated with Safety Engineering related to capital projects is preferred
- Must have experience working with 3rd parties in supporting the development of specialty process safety related issues.
