ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assists dispatcher and drivers in the task of providing daily service on the street.
- Assists the Operations Director in the training of new drivers and retrains drivers coming back from sick leave, or drivers who need training on a specific area of their duties.
- Works with the Operations Director in development of new routes and/or detours due to unforeseen changes.
- Conducts accident/incident investigation and conducts disciplinary meetings as needed.
- Tracks driver's absenteeism on a daily basis.
- Investigates customer service reports and takes appropriate action.
- Investigates or responds to incidents/accidents and complete reports for disciplinary action if necessary.
- Monitors on-time performance conducts special surveys required by governmental agencies.
- Conducts driver counseling sessions and disciplinary meetings as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Operations Director.
- Must maintain a satisfactory level on work performance evaluations.
Candidates must have two years of experience as a bus operator. Candidates must also hold a valid State of Indiana Commercial Driver's license (CDL) class B with a passenger endorsement and maintain a good driving record.
Salary : $54,000 - $65,000
