Trinity Metro has an immediate opening for a Technical Services Coordinator (Desktop Support) responsible for coordinating administrative and customer support services for Information Technology. This is a position that will have some administrative, customer service, as well as technical duties. The incumbent is under the direction of the Lead Technical Services Coordinator.
Essential Functions include :
- Manage inventory for PC’s, printers, and other hardware equipment.
- Relocate computer hardware, peripherals, and equipment as needed.
- Install pre-configured systems from a KACE image.
- Diagnose and repair equipment including printers and computers.
- Service equipment according to established preventative maintenance schedule.
- Maintain accurate records of time and material required to perform repairs and service.
- Resolve Help Desk tickets and requests for service.
- Provide necessary hardware and software training to users.
- Assist in setup of audio-visual equipment as directed.
- Lift and move computer equipment.
- Install and maintain wiring.
- Maintain reference library for computer system.
- Maintains confidential information.
- Maintains regular and punctual attendance
