FortunaBMC is seeking a results-oriented Vice President of Sales to lead and expand our sales efforts, capitalizing on our strong veteran and military connections. You will have extensive experience in State and Local Government procurement, a proven track record in "rainmaking," and the ability to drive significant growth in both government and commercial sectors. The VP of Sales will play a critical role in shaping the future of our organization and further establishing FortunaBMC as a trusted name in our markets. This position offers a compensation package with uncapped commissions and a negotiable salary.

WORK LOCATION : Remote Nationwide

COMPENSATION : Uncapped commissions and a negotiable salary

WHAT YOU'LL DO :

  • Coach / Player Leadership : In addition to recruiting, developing, and leading the company's sales team you too will be responsible for operating as an individual sales contributor. Your commission structure will be weighted more heavily toward your personal contribution to revenue growth while still being rewarded for overall team success.
  • Compensation Planning : You will be responsible for developing the company's sales compensation plan, allowing you to have direct influence over your and your team's compensation.
  • Best Practice Process Optimization : As an expert in Sales processes, you will bring to and design for the company best in class Sales processes across the spectrum of planning, forecasting, sales lifecycle, relationship management, and enabling infrastructure.
  • Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute a robust sales strategy to expand FortunaBMC's footprint in State & Local Government and commercial markets, leveraging our military and veteran networks.
  • Revenue Growth : Drive enterprise-level revenue growth, managing and expanding a $20M book of business while identifying new opportunities.
  • Veteran and Military Network Utilization : Leverage FortunaBMC's strong veteran and military connections to build relationships, navigate procurement processes, and secure key contracts.
  • Market Expansion : Identify and target new markets within government and commercial sectors, utilizing innovative approaches to drive growth.
  • Team Development : Build and lead a high-performing sales team that embodies FortunaBMC's commitment to excellence and service.
  • Customer Relationships : Establish and maintain strong, referenceable relationships with government agencies, veteran organizations, and commercial stakeholders.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams, including Operations, Marketing, and Product Development, to align sales initiatives with broader business objectives.
  • Thought Leadership : Represent FortunaBMC at industry events, conferences, and veteran-focused initiatives, positioning the company as a leader in both the government and commercial sectors.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING :

  • Extensive experience in State & Local Government procurement processes; familiarity with federal procurement is a plus.
  • Proven track record of "rainmaking" and exceeding sales goals in both government and commercial sectors.
  • Experience managing and scaling enterprise revenue streams of $20M or more.
  • Strong familiarity with veteran and military networks, with a proven ability to leverage these connections to drive business growth.
  • Demonstrated expertise in selling to non-government commercial sectors, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Passionate about scaling FortunaBMC into a recognized leader in the State & Local Government and commercial industries.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Familiarity with veteran-focused initiatives, government contracting, and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and data-driven sales strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
