Position Overview
A shipping packer is a warehouse employee responsible for fulfilling orders by arranging inventory in shipping and preparing them for shipment.
Key Responsibilities
Pulling, packing, and loading
Tracks, traces, and updates the status of outgoing shipments.
Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport
Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas
Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages
Education/Certifications
Highschool Diploma, GED, or Trade School Certificate
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to use basic tools.
Basic computer skills
Experience working operations in a Warehouse environment.
Location
This position requires an onsite presence at our Port Washington, NY warehouse.
