Technical Services Manager Description & Duties:
The Technical Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and management of IT processes and systems as well as leading and developing a team of IT professionals.
Pay Range: USD $85,000.00 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr. Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Analyze current technology needs and identify opportunities to improve and refine current processes.
- Design, develop, and test all layers of the applications that are built and deployed.
- Collaborate on requirements with internal and external clients, providing a high level of service and using sound judgement when making or influencing the decisions of others.
- Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to support business objectives.
- Manage and mentor Help Desk team members including reviewing career development plans, setting team goals, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Manage and maintain hardware and software, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, and email systems.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Ensure timely delivery of technical services while maintaining high levels of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Stay up to date with the latest technology, systems, and industry best practices and engage in regular professional development.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates degree with a minimum of 5 years’ management or help desk experience.
- Certifications are a plus.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software and Design software.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
