Job Summary

Foundation Support of HI is a regional leader in the foundation repair and moisture control industry. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing and Office Assistant to join our growing team. This position will support our Marketing and Sales Departments by coordinating marketing outreach efforts, assisting with events, and performing office support duties as needed.

This is a part-time role with variable hours. There is potential for growth and expansion, with work locations varying day-to-day, including real estate firms, convention halls, job sites, and the office.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify areas for outreach to share company products, projects, and expertise.
  • Organize and attend lunch-and-learns to engage with engineers, architects, and realtors.
  • Prepare for and represent the company at home shows and commercial conferences (approximately 3 per year, including weekends).
  • Assist in planning and executing special events such as employee recognition events and company-wide meetings.
  • Provide office support, including expense reports, per diems, deposits, invoicing, and other administrative tasks.
  • Assist with project management, mobilization, and logistics for projects on Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island.
  • Identify and implement system management improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support company operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1 years of experience in a related role (marketing, administration, payroll, or event coordination preferred).
  • Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, or similar software.
  • Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written).
  • A valid driver’s license, auto-insurance in good standing, and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Must be able to travel as needed, including overnight travel (up to 5 days per week occasionally).

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to move between different work environments, including real estate firms, convention halls, job sites, and offices.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 10 pounds.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and attend outdoor events.
