About the Role:
The Building Supplies Retail Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive expert guidance and support in selecting the right building materials for their projects. This position involves maintaining a well-organized and stocked retail environment, where the specialist will assist customers in understanding product features, benefits, and applications. The specialist will also be responsible for processing transactions and managing inventory levels to ensure product availability. By fostering strong customer relationships and providing exceptional service, the specialist will contribute to the overall success and reputation of Bubany Supply. Ultimately, this role aims to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales growth within the company.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5 pm, rotating Saturday's 8 am - 2 pm
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in the building supplies industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of building materials and construction processes.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Fluent in English and Navajo or Spanish.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate building materials based on their project needs and specifications.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing retail space, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift/move products up to 50 lbs.
- Position requires standing, walking, lifting repeatedly throughout the day. Indoor and outdoor yard working environment.
- Must be able to pass routine pre-employment drug test -- including marijuana.
