General Summary : Under the supervision of the Chief Information Officer, the IT Technician is primarily responsible for maintaining and improving the technical systems of Four Rivers Community Health Center, ensuring all employees have the technology they need to complete their work. The IT Technician will serve as the first contact with employees who need technical support and assistance.
Essential Job Responsibilities :
1. Provide quick and effective assistance with information technology systems
2. Respond to tech inquiries via ticket system, email, teams, over the phone, or in person, providing timely updates to employees
3. Help troubleshoot hardware and software
4. Keep record of problems and their resolution
5. Follow-up with employees
6. Maintain technical documentation on installation of software, configuration, and problem troubleshooting
7. Suggest improvements on procedures
8. Assist all departments with resolving IT Issues
9. Demonstrates understanding of HIPPA and protects patient information
10. Must provide the highest level of customer service striving to provide a patient and customer experience that is in keeping with Four Rivers Mission, Vision and Values and as outlined by the AIDET model of customer service.
11. Other duties as assigned
Education : High school diploma
Experience in electronic health record software (eCW), internet software, project management, spreadsheet software, and / or word processing software preferred.
