Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to patrons in accordance with standard recipes.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during banquet events or catering services to ensure seamless service.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Stay updated on drink trends, menu items, and promotions to effectively upsell products.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of retail math to assist with inventory management is beneficial.
- Familiarity with cash register operations for efficient transaction processing.
- Experience in banquet or catering settings is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must possess valid food handling certification as required by local health regulations.
- A passion for brewing or knowledge of various beverage types is advantageous.
