Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. Key Responsibilities
- Payroll processing: Accurately process payroll for all employees, ensuring correct calculations for wages, taxes, and deductions.
- Compliance management: Ensure all payroll activities comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Issue resolution: Address and resolve any payroll-related issues, including discrepancies, employee inquiries, and tax-related concerns.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and relevant authorities as required.
- System maintenance: Maintain and update payroll systems, ensuring data accuracy and security.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, laws, and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing or a related field.
- Proficiency in payroll software such as ADP, Paychex, or QuickBooks.
- A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
