Our client, a pet accessories manufacturer, is searching for a Product Development Associate to join their team in NYC!
Work schedule: 5 days onsite
Responsibilities:
- Log in all development samples and preparing them for review.
- Maintain the various spreadsheets for all the programs.
- Communicate with licensing point person to confirm status on licensed products.
- Provide initial samples to our in-house licensing person for submissions.
- Send samples out to our overseas office.
- Help to set up initial sample tracker logs.
- Maintain and organizing our product library of items.
- Follow up with our art department on packaging status for new development.
- Follow up with production department on PP and Top samples.
- Help to communicate with overseas suppliers on sample status and/or quotes.
- Assist me with product reminders / deadlines.
- Organize sample bins.
- Help with initial product research.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Product Development, or relevant field of study
- 1-4 years of experience in production/product development
- Demonstrated knowledge of the production, PD, and sourcing process
- Strong problem-solving skills and project management skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Salary: $65,000-$75,000
