Our client, a luxury fashion brand, is seeking a Wholesale Showroom Assistant to join their New York team on a temp basis.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Visual Merchandising team in preparation for Market
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the showroom and sample storage areas
- Receive incoming samples for showroom and process and prepare samples for visual presentation
- Responsible for de-hanging, folding, sorting, packing various samples and set up and breakdown of product for showroom
- Communicate with Visual Merchandiser on any showroom supply needs i.e. samples, visual supplies, or maintenance in showrooms
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet client needs and enhance the shopping experience
- Greet guests for market week appointments
- Perform ad-hoc projects that arise to support teams across merchandising and sales
- Perform any other duties as assigned in support of the company needs and operations
Qualifications:
- 1 years of relevant fashion experience within wholesale or a showroom
- Bachelors degree
- Proficiency in Excel
- Highly enthusiastic, detailed, and organized individual with an eye for fashion
- Great communication & organization skills
- Ability to work on site in Manhattan 5 days / week
- Great attention to detail
