What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Assistant to the Superintendent, District Office position at Fowler Unified?
The Executive Assistant to the Superintendent is responsible for providing a variety of complex, and skilled secretarial and administrative support services to the Superintendent and School Board of Education. The Executive Assistant receives assignments in terms of broad objectives and maintains full responsibility for completion of assignments with minimal supervision. Performing the most critical and/or sensitive of administrative assignments, the Executive Assistant is expected to act as a liaison between the Executive Cabinet, school site administration, parent/guardians, students, employees and the public. The incumbent requires specialized knowledge, confidentiality and follows defined policies and procedures, which may include frequent and responsible public contact. Manages assigned community relations, patron communications and assists in the coordination of the Superintendent’s office in an effective and efficient manner. Exhibits confidentiality and uses independent and sound judgment as necessary while maintaining the highest degree of professionalism. This posting is for one Executive Assistant to the Superintendent working 247.5 duty days. This is a classified full-time position working 8 hours daily, Monday through Friday.
