What are the responsibilities and job description for the TELLER/MEMBER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE position at Fox Communities Credit Union?
We currently have a career opportunity for a full-time Teller / Member Service Representative at our New London branch!
The Teller / Member Service Representative creates a positive first impression and establishes strong member relationships, processes member transactions, assists members with account maintenance and problem resolution, uncovers member needs while opening new accounts, and educates members on credit union products and services.
The primary responsibilities of the Teller / Member Service Representative role include but are not limited to :
- Processing basic and advanced member transactions and account maintenance confidentially, accurately, and efficiently, and assisting members with problem resolution including :
- CD maintenance
- Sub accounts
- Member disputes
- Fraudulent transactions
- Credit report reviews
- New account maintenance
- IRAs and HSAs
- Opening new accounts with knowledge of account ownership, authorized signers, and supporting documentation required for all accounts, including business, trust, estate, guardianship, custodial, hardship, and representative payee accounts
- Asking probing questions to identify member needs, educate members on financial services, cross sell credit union products and services, and direct members to other credit union representatives when appropriate

Branch hours : Mon.-Fri. 8am-5 : 30pm, Sat. 9am-12pm
