The Marketing Specialist is responsible for all aspects of marketing for the communities.
This position will be instrumental in driving asset performance through systematic and integrated marketing communications for two individual properties. The employee is expected to develop an understanding of the community businesses where advertisements will yield applicants to lease apartment units. The position requires flexibility to understand property-specific idiosyncrasies as well as to facilitate and manage the marketing process by coordinating with the other office staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working side by side with site staff to ensure all financial goals are met (100% occupancy)
  • Ensuring and strong and well-managed internet presence for designated community; monitor review and report on all marketing activity and results
  • Analyzing current market conditions and competitor information to develop and implement marketing plans and projects for existing assets
  • Manage lead tracking by making contact and follow up Leads generated through marketing efforts and document all correspondence with database
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential residents and their families looking to move into the community and effectively communicate the mission of Lakeshore
  • Effectively market our community through networking, sales, advertising, public relations and community events
  • Identify, establish and maintain positive relationships with industry influencers and strategic partners to ensure on-going referrals and continued opportunities to promote the community

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Business or marketing-related experience of 3 years minimum
  • Experience in developing and maintaining marketing strategies-hands on experience
  • Technical marketing skills, i.e., Facebook
  • Proven experience in customer service, sales and marketing
  • Experience with computer proficiency and relevant software applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Frequently required to market to communities; Frequently required to talk, listen and email; While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate; and, occasionally required to lift up to 10 pounds.
