Position : Regional EHS ManagerDirect Reports : 4 EHS ManagersReports To : Global Director EHSSalary Range : $150k to $175kBonus : 20% bonusRelocation : YesJob Responsibilities : The Regional EHS Manager will provide leadership, coaching and support to evaluate, identify, and reduce uncontrolled risk at 4 North American chemical production facilities. This role will manage the deployment of corporate standards in the local business environments, modifying the requirements to fit the unique needs of each business while maintaining the integrity of control methods. The Regional EHS Manager will serve as a collaborative, empowering, and customer-focused partner for our business leaders.Lead the development and implementation of EHS programs for assigned locations, including plant and building facilities.Provide leadership and strong support for internal safety resources to ensure collaboration and sharing of best practices on safety policies, programs, and procedures.Drive prevention and risk reduction programs to improve safety and health programs, policies, and procedures, providing training and awareness of industry practices and changes.Assist assigned business units in managing risk reduction plan and achieve or exceed commitments.Perform plant and program audits to ensure regulatory compliance and partner with leadership and engineering teams to provide reduced employee exposure to hazards and risks.Empower employees to recognize hazards and champion employee growth and development with training programs.Coach and mentor leaders on techniques and tools to transform culture of Zero Harm.Prepare submittals and ensure compliance with existing environmental and safety permits and programs (NPDES Storm Water, Tier II, SARA Title III, Facility Air permit, SPCC, Hazardous Waste Manifesting, etc.) as applicable. Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science / Engineering, or closely related degree required.Minimum 5 years of EHS experience within a chemical manufacturing facility.CSP or ASP certifications a major plus.Demonstrated knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) and leading Process Hazard Analysis (PHA).Subject matter expertise (demonstrable) in at least one of the following – Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry, Electrical Safety, Emergency Planning & Response, or Powered Industrial Vehicles.Self-starter with high integrity and a bias towards action.Strong collaborator with a proven ability to influence and gain alignment with employees of all levels.Demonstrated ability to create and maintain a positive, successful, and engaged culture.Possess demonstrable leadership experience.Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to influence and motivate teams. Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
