Long-Term Care Nurse Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Long-Term Care Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents, overseeing certified nursing assistants, and participating in care plan updates. Your duties will also include managing supplies, ensuring infection control practices are followed, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform wound treatments per physicians' orders, observe for changes and documents accordingly as indicated.
- Schedule follow-up appointments for residents and transportation needs as indicated.
- Provide nursing leadership to nursing personnel assigned to the unit.
Requirements:
- A nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- Current unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in practicing state
- 1 years of Nursing experience preferred
